In the 17th minute Vladimiro Hunfredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Donostia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arsenio Dayam got free with Federico Donostia in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Vladimiro Hunfredo fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ranquelcó's protests and gave Vladimiro Hunfredo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bulnes FC booed when Ranquelcó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimiro Hunfredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Aureliano Duarte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lázaro Baraquiel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Fraco having to interfere. Victorino Fraco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Pascual Grabiel was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 41 minutes into the match. The goalkeeper, Federico Donostia, was totally fooled by Ranquelcó's Aureliano Osmundo, who 44 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Freddy Argina made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Gonzalo Gamus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bulnes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonzalo Gamus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lázaro Baraquiel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gonzalo Gamus took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victorino Fraco. Victorino Fraco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Honorio Michael charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Lázaro Baraquiel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Victorino Fraco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Artemio Cibran struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Victorino Fraco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bulnes FC. Bulnes FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
