Rigoberto Omero kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. German Constancio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Ibon having to interfere. German Constancio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute, one of Deportivo Cabral:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Deportivo Cabral. Escalada AFC's Eliseo Diagur got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leopoldo Rojelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomero Orti in the 38th minute of the match. When German Constancio came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Deportivo Cabral fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that German Constancio couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when German Constancio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Guaberto Ibon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from German Constancio in the 52nd minute of play. Leopoldo Rojelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomero Orti in the 54th minute of play. If Baldomero Orti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute Baldomero Orti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Rojelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. German Constancio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. German Constancio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Guaberto Ibon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ovidio Atarratze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Ibon having to interfere. In the 74th minute German Constancio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Ibon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guaberto Ibon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from German Constancio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Escalada AFC's Guaberto Ibon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Constancio in the 89th minute of play. Leopoldo Rojelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Diagur in the 92nd minute of play. Baldomero Orti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leopoldo Rojelio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Escalada AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Deportivo Cabral had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
