Osvaldo Andrea might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jesus Fernandes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Osvaldo Andrea ran back to his position shaking his head. 6 minutes into the game, Arequito AFC's Leonel Quentin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jesus Fernandes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 9th minute Osvaldo Andrea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesus Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jesus Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Quentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Belgrano's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Mikeldi came free, but Jesus Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Belgrano's Alfonso Quico got a free kick in the 16th minute. Andres Mikeldi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Jesus Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Andres Mikeldi suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Humberto Llin during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arequito AFC made a substitution. Reynaldo Patxi replaced Andres Mikeldi. Humberto Llin kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Marciano Nikola didn't quite understand what happened when in the 25 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. In the 26th minute, Osvaldo Andrea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. If Reynaldo Patxi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reynaldo Patxi was the one to do the kick off. Arequito AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 57th minute, Reynaldo Patxi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arequito AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. With his leg Jesus Fernandes managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Arequito AFC's Reynaldo Patxi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Reynaldo Patxi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Fernandes having to interfere. Osvaldo Andrea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Reynaldo Patxi came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Arequito AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reynaldo Patxi couldn't finish the play. Jesus Fernandes came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Arequito AFC's Reynaldo Patxi. But to his dismay, Reynaldo Patxi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Osvaldo Andrea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Osvaldo Andrea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Jesus Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Arequito AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Club Atletico Belgrano.
