If Placido Lizar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th minute Sportivo Bernal Oeste were awarded a corner. Eliseo Sotero went to the cornerflag to take it. Carolo Colas tried in the game's 7th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Faustino Abaunza. An annoying self made goal, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Coitaco's Eugenio Librado got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 16th minute, Placido Lizar fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Coitaco's goalkeeper Faustino Abaunza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 20 minutes into the game, Roque Izel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coitaco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sportivo Bernal Oeste the free kick. After 20 played minutes Coitaco got a freekick which was hit by Roque Izel. Eliseo Sotero shot from long distance in the 21st minute, but Faustino Abaunza was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. In the 23rd minute Agustin Naike shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Calisto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 26 minutes, Agustin Naike managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coitaco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustin Naike was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 31st play minutes Raul Clementi shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Faustino Abaunza and just under the crossbar into goal. Placido Lizar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Faustino Abaunza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Coitaco's Faustino Abaunza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Lizar in the 38th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Raul Clementi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Faustino Abaunza. That made the score 3-0 in the 40 minute of play. Faustino Abaunza made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Raul Clementi sent off a good shot on target. In the 48th minute Placido Lizar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Abaunza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Placido Lizar to make the kick off. Hector Cordarius's late challenge caught a Coitaco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hector Cordarius helped the player get up and apologised. Hector Cordarius kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Coitaco's zone, Placido Lizar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustino Abaunza came out of the goal and Placido Lizar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 57 minutes into the match, Coitaco's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Clementi came free, but Faustino Abaunza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faustino Abaunza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Clementi in the 58th minute of play. Jorge Erramun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Calisto having to interfere. If Agustin Naike had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Coitaco's Faustino Abaunza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Lizar in the 79th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Jorge Erramun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coitaco's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Erramun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Calisto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Sportivo Bernal Oeste getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Ezequiel Abajas hit a great ball. A hard shot by Domingos Osoro from long distance, 86 minutes into the match, got Carlos Calisto's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 92 minutes into the match, Placido Lizar notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Coitaco's Faustino Abaunza. Faustino Abaunza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Sportivo Bernal Oeste's zone, Agustin Naike stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Calisto came out of the goal and Agustin Naike tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Coitaco's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
