Marco Sengrat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcelino Demesio in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute, Marcelino Demesio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Sengrat was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Constantino Tonete charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Constantino Tonete the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Leopoldo Dimo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Jago, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. If Melquiades Ihazintu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Liniers getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Emanuel Eneto hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Boca Unidos's Eduardo Iturri got a free kick in the 39th minute. Marcelino Demesio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Sengrat having to make a save. In the 42nd minute, Luciano Evarado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Federico Jago struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Leopoldo Dimo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Boca Unidos. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Melquiades Ihazintu made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Boca Unidos's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Demesio came free, but Marco Sengrat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Liniers's Melquiades Ihazintu got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Boca Unidos's Eugenio Camerino got a free kick in the 61st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Federico Norino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Boca Unidos's supporters rose to their feet, but Federico Norino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leopoldo Dimo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Constantino Tonete recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leopoldo Dimo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Jago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute Marcelino Demesio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Sengrat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Boca Unidos's zone, Marcelino Demesio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Sengrat came out of the goal and Marcelino Demesio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 82nd minute by Federico Norino got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Club Atlético Boca Unidos's Federico Jago in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Liniers's goalie prevented a goal. In the 85th minute, Liniers's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Federico Norino fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience was convinced that Federico Jago's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leopoldo Dimo was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. If Marcelino Demesio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelino Demesio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Melquiades Ihazintu made a precise shot to the right of Marco Sengrat. Club Atlético Boca Unidos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Liniers had won after a very even match.
