But to his dismay, Gilberto Eleazar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Bonifacio Teofilio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Calisto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Eleazar in the 28th minute of the match. Sportivo Bernal Oeste's Carlos Calisto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Teofilio in the 29th minute of play. Gilberto Eleazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Carlos Calisto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mario Panfilo came out of the goal and Raul Clementi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 61st minute Placido Lizar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Panfilo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Sportivo Bernal Oeste's Carlos Calisto got control of the ball when Gilberto Eleazar tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 64th minute Bonifacio Teofilio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Calisto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ezequiel Abajas during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
