Paolo Walme made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The supporters of Club Atlético Dupuy booed when SAN JOSE DE YACUY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Padro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clemente Urtungo, 59 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaudencio Gabrio in the 95th minute of play forced Club Atlético Dupuy's goalkeeper Paolo Walme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teo Maidana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Salvidor having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SAN JOSE DE YACUY had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
