The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 8 minutes into the match, Pila's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Llanos came free, but Serafin Enaut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anacleto Weather fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafin Enaut having to interfere. After 20 minutes of play, Pila's Camilo Haritzeder made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Everardo Dominguez was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Anacleto Weather came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the NO DE NUEVO DECIA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anacleto Weather couldn't finish the play. The long shot by Donato Lorenz in the 31st minute really tested Serafin Enaut's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a rather tough play, Pila's Alonzo Sazon got a free kick in the 31st minute. Cristian Llanos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafin Enaut having to interfere. Everardo Dominguez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilano Ortzi in the 43rd minute of the match. Hector Chale lost his temper 44 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 46th minute there was a penalty for Pila. Herminio Gamus stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Everardo Dominguez. 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Anacleto Weather made the kick off in the second half. Everardo Dominguez came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Pila's Camilo Haritzeder. But to his dismay, Camilo Haritzeder quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. If Camilo Haritzeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, NO DE NUEVO DECIA FC's Anacleto Weather got a free kick in the 66th minute. Atilano Ortzi might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Everardo Dominguez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Atilano Ortzi ran back to his position shaking his head. Camilo Haritzeder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Everardo Dominguez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 76 minutes, Alonzo Sazon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pila's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alonzo Sazon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Everardo Dominguez made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Camilo Haritzeder sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Pila eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
