The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Ocho de Noviembre's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Niva came free, but Erubiel Ostargi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 3rd match minute, Botija was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albino Iruinea to maneuver through the defense. Erubiel Ostargi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Niva in the 5th minute of the match. In the 7th minute Jacinto Niva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erubiel Ostargi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erubiel Ostargi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Niva in the 11th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Ocho de Noviembre's goalkeeper Erubiel Ostargi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albino Iruinea. 15 minutes into the game, Jacinto Niva recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Erubiel Ostargi. Jacinto Niva showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Niva in the 18th minute of play forced Ocho de Noviembre's goalkeeper Erubiel Ostargi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Botija's Albino Iruinea ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Erubiel Ostargi. Erubiel Ostargi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 26 minutes into the match, Ocho de Noviembre's goal looked a bit too open when Albino Iruinea came free, but Erubiel Ostargi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erubiel Ostargi made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Esteban Txomin sent off a good shot on target. Ocho de Noviembre's Erubiel Ostargi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Niva in the 30th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Esteban Txomin got free with Erubiel Ostargi in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Erubiel Ostargi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anibal Cebrian in the 35th minute of the match. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ocho de Noviembre's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anibal Cebrian was slow to take the kick. During this time Botija's players had a chance to rest. In the 41st minute, Botija's Jacinto Niva dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Erubiel Ostargi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Esteban Txomin in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jacinto Niva made a kick off. Jacinto Niva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Erubiel Ostargi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Esteban Txomin made a precise shot to the right of Erubiel Ostargi. Ocho de Noviembre's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. 59 minutes into the game, Jacinto Niva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Erubiel Ostargi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 61st match minute, Ocho de Noviembre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severiano Cresenciano to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute Jacinto Niva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erubiel Ostargi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th match minute, Ocho de Noviembre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ediz İslam to maneuver through the defense. Ediz İslam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Gartzen having to interfere. Emilio Gartzen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniele De Rossi went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Erubiel Ostargi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albino Iruinea in the 73rd minute of the match. Erubiel Ostargi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Niva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esteban Txomin scored 6-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erubiel Ostargi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ocho de Noviembre's Erubiel Ostargi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albino Iruinea in the 82nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacinto Niva in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erubiel Ostargi saved Ocho de Noviembre from getting behind. Erubiel Ostargi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteban Txomin in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute Jacinto Niva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erubiel Ostargi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erubiel Ostargi came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Botija's Esteban Txomin. But to his dismay, Esteban Txomin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-1. When the referee ended the match the Botija players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
