The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 20th match minute, Rossi AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Abechuco to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute Benedicto Cordarin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cirilo Domiku saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th match minute, Tronco Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Merexildo to maneuver through the defense. Pablo Chano acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 26th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Fidel Benat. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Ignado in the 27th minute of play forced Tronco Juniors's goalkeeper Pablo Chano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Jacinto Abechuco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gavino Giraldo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cirilo Domiku. Rossi AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Pablo Chano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Ignado in the 32nd minute of the match. Rossi AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fidel Benat in the 34th minute. A well done corner resulted in Amador Rayman drilling the ball in to score 2-0 behind Tronco Juniors's goalkeeper. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Merexildo during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tronco Juniors's Pedro Merexildo got a free kick in the 38th minute. Froilan Ignado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Anier Micael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cirilo Domiku made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Sazon in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Sazon was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Froilan Ignado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rossi AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Froilan Ignado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pablo Chano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Tronco Juniors getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Pedro Merexildo hit a great ball. Pablo Chano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anier Micael, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cirilo Domiku made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Sazon in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute Mariano Sazon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cirilo Domiku saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Mariano Sazon took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Cirilo Domiku to make any attempt to save it. If Anier Micael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Tronco Juniors's zone, Froilan Ignado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pablo Chano came out of the goal and Froilan Ignado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Froilan Ignado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pablo Chano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Ignado in the 80th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Froilan Ignado made a precise shot to the right of Pablo Chano. Tronco Juniors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. 84 minutes into the match, Mariano Sazon dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cirilo Domiku, 3-2. In the 96th minute, Froilan Ignado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
