Carlos Osoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niceto Odol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabian Abastas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the match, Pichanas's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Odol came free, but Carlos Osoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Osoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Odol in the 19th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Alejo Hats was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Riachuelo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pichanas the free kick. In the 26th minute, Fabian Abastas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 30th minute Niceto Odol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Osoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ermegildo Castulo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Perpinya having to interfere. Ermegildo Castulo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the game, Gustavo Sidro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 44 minutes into the match, Riachuelo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Castulo came free, but Hugo Perpinya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Niceto Odol to make the kick off. Niceto Odol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 54 minutes, Ermegildo Castulo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pichanas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ermegildo Castulo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ildefonso Berdoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 62 minutes into the match, Pichanas's goal looked a bit too open when Ildefonso Berdoi came free, but Carlos Osoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Niceto Odol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Osoitz. Pichanas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niceto Odol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. If Ildefonso Berdoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruben Maurin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isaias Gelacio kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Odol in the 76th minute of play forced Pichanas's goalkeeper Carlos Osoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ildefonso Berdoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Osoitz having to interfere. Ruben Maurin hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Riachuelo FC's Alejo Hats was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Carlos Osoitz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to Pichanas getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Fabian Abastas hit a great ball. Niceto Odol struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Carlos Osoitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Riachuelo FC. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pichanas players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Riachuelo FC.
