If Niceto Odol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute Niceto Odol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Playo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute of the match Alejo Hats sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eugenio Playo skillfully saved the ball. Eugenio Playo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hugo Perpinya made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Bartolo Karmel sent off a good shot on target. Niceto Odol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eugenio Playo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play.

The wind increased when Niceto Odol made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match Riachuelo FC got a corner. La Piojera's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alejo Hats ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Ildefonso Berdoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugenio Playo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 60th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Israel Diaz hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Tobias Urtungo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hugo Perpinya read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. The La Piojera supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Riachuelo FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Riachuelo FC.
