Spectators: 7218 (Terracing: 5429, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 125) Felix Balasi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 7 minutes into the match, Independiente FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Sagrario came free, but Silvio Gartzea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Porvenir's Constantino Joanes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Balasi in the 9th minute of play. Silvestre Louis's late challenge caught a Porvenir's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvestre Louis helped the player get up and apologised. Constantino Joanes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Balasi in the 16th minute of play. The Independiente FC fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Independiente FC's Felix Balasi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Porvenir defense, Felix Balasi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Constantino Joanes. The Porvenir fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Constantino Joanes should have stopped the shot. After 29 minutes of play, Independiente FC's Ovidio Padro made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Constantino Joanes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Constantino Joanes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ovidio Padro's shot from short distance in the 35th minute.

Silvio Gartzea came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Porvenir's Silvio Maraman. But to his dismay, Silvio Maraman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in Porvenir's zone, Ovidio Padro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Constantino Joanes came out of the goal and Ovidio Padro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ovidio Padro in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Constantino Joanes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Chesus in the 78th minute of play forced Independiente FC's goalkeeper Silvio Gartzea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Constantino Joanes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidio Padro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 84 played minutes Porvenir got a freekick which was hit by Silvio Maraman. Amadeo Sagrario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvio Gartzea having to interfere. Independiente FC's Silvio Gartzea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeo Sagrario in the 90th minute of play. Constantino Joanes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Perez in the 93rd minute. When the match was over Independiente FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Porvenir throughout the match.
