Arnaldo Frechoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Hanni in the 46th minute of the match. A collision led to Club Atlético Patrón getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Genaro Gurutz hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abel Gauargi was the one to do the kick off. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnaldo Frechoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 97 minutes of play, Carabelas's Abel Gauargi made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
