The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes Pastillos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Marco Caetano. 5 minutes into the match, Pastillos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Marciano Feliz came free, but Felix Chuan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ladislao Ulizes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barracas AFC's Dario Xabier got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Barracas AFC booed when Pastillos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prospero Diegotxe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Chuan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Ulizes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th match minute, Pastillos AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adan Kaiet to maneuver through the defense. Marciano Feliz, 15 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Prospero Diegotxe fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pastillos AFC's protests and gave Prospero Diegotxe a yellow card for diving instead. After 16 played minutes Pastillos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Diegotxe. During the 19th minute of the match Prospero Diegotxe completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Prospero Diegotxe a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 19th match minute, Pastillos AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prospero Diegotxe to maneuver through the defense. Pastillos AFC's Felix Chuan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Sal in the 23rd minute of play. When Barracas AFC's Denis Sal in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pastillos AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Pastillos AFC's Dionisio Selatse got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 30 minutes into the game, Barracas AFC's Denis Sal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Felix Chuan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Denis Sal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Chuan came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Barracas AFC's Ladislao Ulizes. But to his dismay, Ladislao Ulizes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Denis Sal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barracas AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Denis Sal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felix Chuan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Denis Sal was the one to do the kick off. Dario Xabier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Felix Chuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Dionisio Selatse fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pastillos AFC's protests and gave Dionisio Selatse a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Pastillos AFC's zone, Denis Sal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Chuan came out of the goal and Denis Sal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ladislao Ulizes came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Barracas AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ladislao Ulizes couldn't finish the play. When Adan Kaiet fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pastillos AFC's protests and gave Adan Kaiet a yellow card for diving instead. Adan Kaiet hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Denis Sal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Chuan having to interfere. If Dario Xabier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denis Sal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Felix Chuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot by Marciano Feliz from long distance, 82 minutes into the match, got Felix Chuan's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After having played for 84 minutes, Denis Sal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barracas AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denis Sal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dario Xabier struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Felix Chuan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barracas AFC. Denis Sal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 93 minutes, Cristian Ibar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pastillos AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Ibar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Denis Sal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Pastillos AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Barracas AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
