In the 14th minute, Edgard Eutropio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Saturnino Sidoro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The audience was convinced that Edgard Eutropio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Saturnino Sidoro was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Romulo Quintana's late challenge caught a Paikín's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romulo Quintana helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Awados getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Romulo Quintana hit a great ball. Saturnino Sidoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciriaco Celio, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After a rather tough play, Paikín's Angelino Abella got a free kick in the 24th minute. Diego Urdin was a little too slow when Teo Tebaldo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 2-1. Diego Urdin made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Teo Tebaldo sent off a good shot on target. Ciriaco Celio struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Saturnino Sidoro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Awados. 40 minutes in the game, Rogelio Remir fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Diego Urdin having to interfere. Awados's Diego Urdin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Remir in the 44th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ciriaco Celio was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teo Tebaldo in the 53rd minute of play forced Awados's goalkeeper Diego Urdin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 54 minutes, Americo Uxio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Awados and the Paikín players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th minute, Americo Uxio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Remir in the 61st minute of play forced Awados's goalkeeper Diego Urdin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romulo Quintana was shown his second yellow card after 66 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Diego Urdin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rogelio Remir went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. If Rogelio Remir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgard Eutropio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Saturnino Sidoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgard Eutropio got free with Saturnino Sidoro in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Paikín getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Hermengildo Uxio hit a great ball. Saturnino Sidoro made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Edgard Eutropio sent off a good shot on target. Edgard Eutropio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Inocencio Todor's late challenge caught a Paikín's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Inocencio Todor helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th match minute, Awados was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inocencio Todor to maneuver through the defense. If Teo Tebaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Paikín had won after a very even match.
