The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maximino Rosalio during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th minute, Guillermo Videl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Venancio Petrigai to strike the kick off in the second half. Ismael Escobar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Faustino Lohitzun made a huge save. Feliciano Panpili showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Florian in the 54th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Guillermo Videl's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Feliciano Panpili was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Guillermo Videl's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Feliciano Panpili read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guillermo Videl in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Feliciano Panpili saved CLUBLAND from getting behind. With a little luck, Luti FC's Faustino Lohitzun got control of the ball when Ismael Escobar tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Luti FC's zone, Ismael Escobar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustino Lohitzun came out of the goal and Ismael Escobar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 89 played minutes Luti FC got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Casomiro. After a rather tough play, Luti FC's Wilfredo Larpe got a free kick in the 91st minute.
