At first the shot seemed to be simple for Lanteri's Enrique Santiago to catch but Bernardo Eguerdi was lucky. It became 0-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Osvaldo Domenec's late challenge caught a Retrogrados F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Osvaldo Domenec helped the player get up and apologised. After 6 played minutes Lanteri got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Domenec. Retrogrados F.C's Vicente Fiz got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Lanteri getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Apolo Bide hit a great ball. In the 17th minute, Iker Gai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Enrique Santiago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Jenaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After some careless play in the Lanteri defense, Marcelo Arnas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enrique Santiago. The Lanteri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enrique Santiago should have stopped the shot. In the 24th minute, Apolo Bide hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Osvaldo Jenaro hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After taking down the ball on Retrogrados F.C's corner Bernardo Eguerdi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Enrique Santiago quite easily take care of the ball. During the 38th minute of the match Osvaldo Jenaro completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent.
