With an extended leg and a bit of luck Serafino Urtungo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Siro Rozarius put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Serafino Urtungo. Serafino Urtungo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Asteri in the 10th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Albino Basajaun kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Serafino Urtungo. That made the score 2-0 in the 13 minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Albino Basajaun recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Serafino Urtungo. Albino Basajaun showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. In the 19th minute Anselmo Erauso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Ponciano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Pedermar FC defense, Albino Basajaun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Serafino Urtungo. The Pedermar FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serafino Urtungo should have stopped the shot. El Tifón de Boyacá's Bernardino Ponciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Epifanio Tristan in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Pedermar FC's goalkeeper Serafino Urtungo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albino Basajaun. The supporters of Pedermar FC booed when El Tifón de Boyacá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Erramun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albino Basajaun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Siro Rozarius managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Tifón de Boyacá's supporters rose to their feet, but Siro Rozarius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serafino Urtungo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Albino Basajaun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Serafino Urtungo was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Siro Rozarius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Serafino Urtungo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dario Asteri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Urtungo having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Albino Basajaun made a kick off. If Albino Basajaun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardino Ponciano made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Narciso Frans sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Dario Asteri managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Tifón de Boyacá's supporters rose to their feet, but Dario Asteri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serafino Urtungo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Siro Rozarius struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Serafino Urtungo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Tifón de Boyacá. Albino Basajaun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Luciano Sabin sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pedermar FC's Serafino Urtungo didn't even have to move. If Siro Rozarius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Siro Rozarius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Siro Rozarius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Urtungo having to interfere. Serafino Urtungo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Asteri in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 94thth minute of the game Albino Basajaun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pedermar FC's Serafino Urtungo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pedermar FC's zone, Albino Basajaun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafino Urtungo came out of the goal and Albino Basajaun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the El Tifón de Boyacá players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
