Timoteo Lucian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Domiku, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The audience was convinced that Celso Domiku's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Timoteo Lucian was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute Coloma were awarded a corner. Urbano Mon went to the cornerflag to take it. Celso Domiku scored 1-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Timoteo Lucian, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Coloma's Victorino Regis got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Damian Quentin came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Amberes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damian Quentin couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Amberes FC booed when Coloma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascual Lizardi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cayetano Eufrasio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amberes FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
