Abelardo Frisco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Goyeneche's zone, Silvano Urti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Club S y D Villa Podesta. Goyeneche were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Club S y D Villa Podesta's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Desiderio Sandaili took the corner. The corner ended in Desiderio Sandaili almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club S y D Villa Podesta's Maximiliano Rocendo did a great save. With a little luck, Club S y D Villa Podesta's Maximiliano Rocendo got control of the ball when Delmar Baumer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Delmar Baumer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Rocendo having to interfere.
