The ball went over the crossbar instead. 11 minutes into the match, Eulalio Edwardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Iraitz. Los Suarez City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eulalio Edwardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Serafin Mercurio hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Maximino Boniel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ancóm's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximino Boniel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Iraitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th minute, Eulalio Edwardo made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Iraitz. Los Suarez City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. With his leg Honorio Nerio managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Los Suarez City's Donato Alonso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sixto Estevez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Honorio Nerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Los Suarez City defense, Maximino Boniel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Iraitz. The Los Suarez City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Iraitz should have stopped the shot. Joaquin Iraitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eulalio Edwardo in the 41st minute of the match. Lázaro Aznaro charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lázaro Aznaro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 43rd match minute, Los Suarez City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Aznaro to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Los Suarez City's zone, Silvestre Deunoro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Iraitz came out of the goal and Silvestre Deunoro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ancóm were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Los Suarez City's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Silvestre Deunoro took the corner. Ancóm's Silvestre Deunoro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Joaquin Iraitz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maximino Boniel to strike the kick off in the second half. Honorio Nerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severo Mateus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severo Mateus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Honorio Nerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sixto Estevez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 67 played minutes, Ancóm's Eduardo Udalaitz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joaquin Iraitz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ancóm reached it. Eulalio Edwardo struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Joaquin Iraitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ancóm. After a rather tough play, Los Suarez City's Serafin Mercurio got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Silvestre Deunoro sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Joaquin Iraitz threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Silvestre Deunoro this time. Honorio Nerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixto Estevez, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Ancóm's Honorio Nerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severo Mateus in the 77th minute of play. After 82 minutes, Domingos Unai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Suarez City and the Ancóm players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd match minute, Los Suarez City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Unai to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 84th minute, when Ancóm's Ladislao Jakes after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Joaquin Iraitz in Los Suarez City's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. In the 88th minute, Ladislao Jakes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Boniel in the 97th minute of play forced Los Suarez City's goalkeeper Joaquin Iraitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Ancóm players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
