Joaquin Iraitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Frechoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Los Suarez City! Maximo Brais walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Salvador Nardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Joaquin Iraitz made a huge save. Serafin Mercurio hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evaristo Frechoso in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Iraitz saved Los Suarez City from getting behind. If Salvador Nardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Joaquin Iraitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Nardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Los Suarez City's Joaquin Iraitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Frechoso in the 70th minute of play. Salvador Nardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquin Iraitz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severo Mateus in the 90th minute of play forced Provolone FC's goalkeeper Saul Edorta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Provolone FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Los Suarez City's performance. The match ended with a win for Los Suarez City.
