Spectators: 7223 (Terracing: 5419, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) MADDA FC's Haroldo Olayo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 10th minute of the match Cristobal Tavio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Orlando Lidon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 16th minute, Ciriaco Bingen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Nicanor Tancredo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of MADDA FC's Orlando Lidon. Orlando Lidon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tigre's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cristobal Tavio in the 24th minute. Tigre's Cristobal Tavio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Orlando Lidon in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Tigre's Silvio Loiola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Olayo in the 27th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Ciriaco Bingen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tigre's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciriaco Bingen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orlando Lidon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Felipe Lander kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. The supporters of Tigre booed when MADDA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rene Mitxaut didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Rene Mitxaut was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 44 minutes had been played. Rene Mitxaut hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Nicanor Tancredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Orlando Lidon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Nicanor Tancredo made the kick off in the second half. Ciriaco Bingen struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Orlando Lidon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tigre. In the 55th minute, Esteban Udalaitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to MADDA FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Marcial Fanuco hit a great ball. Ciriaco Bingen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Orlando Lidon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Felipe Lander came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the MADDA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Lander couldn't finish the play. Esteban Udalaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristobal Tavio hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Evelio Gimenez's late challenge caught a Tigre's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evelio Gimenez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th match minute, MADDA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evelio Gimenez to maneuver through the defense. Nicanor Tancredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. MADDA FC's Orlando Lidon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicanor Tancredo in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Udalaitz in the 77th minute of play forced Tigre's goalkeeper Silvio Loiola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orlando Lidon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicanor Tancredo in the 81st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Ciriaco Bingen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tigre's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciriaco Bingen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orlando Lidon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 95th minute, Haroldo Olayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tigre's Nicanor Tancredo got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
