After some careless play in the MADDA FC defense, Higinio Salomon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Orlando Lidon. The MADDA FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Orlando Lidon should have stopped the shot. MADDA FC's Esteban Udalaitz got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31stth minute of the game Higinio Salomon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MADDA FC's Orlando Lidon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Higinio Salomon in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Orlando Lidon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 44th match minute, MADDA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Olayo to maneuver through the defense. Higinio Salomon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Lidon having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Higinio Salomon to make the kick off. Orlando Lidon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Higinio Salomon's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Orlando Lidon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Salomon in the 54th minute of play. Higinio Salomon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Orlando Lidon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th match minute, MADDA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evelio Gimenez to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Salomon in the 88th minute of play forced MADDA FC's goalkeeper Orlando Lidon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. N. Chicago's Higinio Salomon got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
