Carolo Fagildo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Teodosio Dacio. Hacha y Tiza Fútbol Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Jonas Claus fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hacha y Tiza Fútbol Club's protests and gave Jonas Claus a yellow card for diving instead. Jonas Claus kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Teodosio Dacio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
