After a defensive mix-up in Defensores de la Birra FC's zone, Javier Gervaso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filomeno Franco came out of the goal and Javier Gervaso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22nd minute Jimeno Montxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Franco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute Cleto Asier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Gonza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aaron Vargas kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 41st minute of the game, Siro Heli landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Aaron Vargas fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Islas's protests and gave Aaron Vargas a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Defensores de la Birra FC booed when Islas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Vargas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Javier Gervaso to make the kick off. With a left leg Filomeno Franco saved Defensores de la Birra FC from getting behind. Jimeno Montxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Filomeno Franco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filomeno Franco was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Javier Gervaso capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Javier Gervaso really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. After having played for 64 minutes, Modesto Gonzo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Defensores de la Birra FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Modesto Gonzo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Defensores de la Birra FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Amador Janpier 68 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. Javier Gervaso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Franco having to interfere. If Jimeno Montxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 96 minutes, Moises Ellande mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Defensores de la Birra FC and the Islas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Moises Ellande hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The Defensores de la Birra FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Islas's performance. The match ended with a win for Islas.
