Spectators: 7314 (Terracing: 5487, Seating: 1682, VIP seats: 145) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Braulio Elivareo kicked off to start the match. Ulises Cordario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 8 played minutes DOPING POSITIVO got a freekick which was hit by Amado Cambranes. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Braulio Elivareo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ignacio Costante to make any attempt to save it. If Ivan Hunfredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Huelén's zone, Braulio Elivareo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ignacio Costante came out of the goal and Braulio Elivareo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 19 played minutes Huelén got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Nardo. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Ulises Cordario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huelén's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulises Cordario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvaro Dolfos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute Ivan Hunfredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Dolfos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvaro Dolfos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulises Cordario in the 24th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Huelén's Freddy Oliviero got a free kick in the 27th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Ulises Cordario had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alvaro Dolfos. DOPING POSITIVO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ulises Cordario was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Huelén's Ulises Cordario got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alvaro Dolfos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Hunfredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ulises Cordario was the one to do the kick off. DOPING POSITIVO's Clemente Paul got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Huelén getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Gaudencio Nardo hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivan Hunfredo got free with Alvaro Dolfos in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ivan Hunfredo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alvaro Dolfos having to make a save. A collision led to DOPING POSITIVO getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Braulio Elivareo hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute Ulises Cordario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Dolfos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benigno Constancio hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind DOPING POSITIVO's goalkeeper Alvaro Dolfos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Ulises Cordario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ignacio Costante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Braulio Elivareo, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
