Melchor Celipe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genaro Iraunkor, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Eleuterio Raphael recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eleuterio Raphael who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Melchor Celipe when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Eleuterio Raphael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Genaro Iraunkor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Melchor Celipe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Siro Olivar kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Marco Azubeli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Patxi having to interfere. A hard shot 34 in the game by Eleuterio Raphael from a close distance when the talented Melchor Celipe managed to make a qualified save. Uturuncos's players were relieved. After 34 played minutes Uturuncos got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Baraquiel. After having played for 36 minutes, Eleuterio Raphael managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Gunners FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eleuterio Raphael was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Eleuterio Raphael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eleuterio Raphael got free with Melchor Celipe in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When Marco Azubeli came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Uturuncos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Azubeli couldn't finish the play. In the 55th minute, Uturuncos's Nicanor Erramu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Melchor Celipe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genaro Iraunkor, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 65 minutes into the game, Braulio Chap recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anastasio Patxi. Braulio Chap showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Remigio Errapel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marco Azubeli who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Anastasio Patxi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 83rd minute Eleuterio Raphael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melchor Celipe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anastasio Patxi made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Marco Azubeli sent off a good shot on target. 0-3 became the score in the 94th minute when Braulio Chap elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Uturuncos eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
