The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Guido Baudelio made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Sergio Aritza sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Herena in the 5th minute of play forced Los Andes's goalkeeper Rodolfo Enol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Aquiles Herena put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Rodolfo Enol. Rodolfo Enol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Herena, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Los Andes's Rodolfo Enol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Caitano in the 20th minute of play. Aquiles Herena took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodolfo Enol. Rodolfo Enol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Nemesio Lore's late challenge caught a FUNKYMusic's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nemesio Lore helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th match minute, Los Andes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemesio Lore to maneuver through the defense. Rodolfo Enol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ambrosio Eusko in the 28th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Aquiles Herena managed to get in a good position for a shot. FUNKYMusic's supporters rose to their feet, but Aquiles Herena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodolfo Enol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Haroldo Caitano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Rodolfo Enol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haroldo Caitano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Enol having to interfere. Rodolfo Enol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Caitano in the 39th minute of play. Aquiles Herena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Rodolfo Enol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aquiles Herena in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodolfo Enol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 48th minute, Aquiles Herena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodolfo Enol was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

After 54 played minutes Los Andes got a freekick which was hit by Erubiel Bazil. Nicolás Musico missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 56 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Rodolfo Enol right hand side. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Andes's goalkeeper Rodolfo Enol, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rodolfo Aritza kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Sergio Aritza might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guido Baudelio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sergio Aritza ran back to his position shaking his head. If Pascual Millano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to FUNKYMusic getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Ambrosio Eusko hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the match, FUNKYMusic's goal looked a bit too open when Pascual Millano came free, but Guido Baudelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Haroldo Caitano in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rodolfo Enol, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sergio Aritza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guido Baudelio having to make a save. Haroldo Caitano's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rodolfo Enol firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 90th minute, Haroldo Caitano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aquiles Herena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodolfo Enol made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Haroldo Caitano sent off a good shot on target. When the match was over FUNKYMusic could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Los Andes throughout the match.
