The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Mariano Domiku fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Gunners FC's protests and gave Mariano Domiku a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th minute, Mariano Domiku hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute, Siro Olivar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anibal Dacio in the 17th minute of play forced Los Andes's goalkeeper Rodolfo Enol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Genaro Iraunkor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Rodolfo Enol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodolfo Enol came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by The Gunners FC's Eleuterio Raphael. But to his dismay, Eleuterio Raphael quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Eleuterio Raphael managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Gunners FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eleuterio Raphael was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodolfo Enol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 38thth minute of the game Eleuterio Raphael who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Andes's Rodolfo Enol was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 40th minute, Genaro Iraunkor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Gunners FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Eleuterio Raphael recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodolfo Enol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genaro Iraunkor in the 46th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pascual Millano to make the kick off. With a little luck, Los Andes's Rodolfo Enol got control of the ball when Eleuterio Raphael tried to sneak it across the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Los Andes's goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Iraunkor came free, but Rodolfo Enol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Genaro Iraunkor kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rodolfo Enol. That made the score 0-3 in the 60 minute of play. Rodolfo Enol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genaro Iraunkor in the 66th minute of the match. Rodolfo Enol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genaro Iraunkor, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After having played for 74 minutes, Genaro Iraunkor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Gunners FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Genaro Iraunkor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnoldo Hunfredo during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Los Andes getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Arnoldo Hunfredo hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the game, Anibal Dacio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Gunners FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Andes the free kick. In the 79th match minute, The Gunners FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anibal Dacio to maneuver through the defense. Sergio Aritza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Sergio Aritza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anastasio Patxi was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. The Gunners FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
