Spectators: 6681 (Terracing: 5004, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 10) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Niceto Franco took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 12th minute, Amadeo Norino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Curupayti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victorino Roldanillo got free with Domingo Quintan in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 23 minutes into the match, Amadeo Norino notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Telaritos's Arturo Telmo. Arturo Telmo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 26th minute, Elpidio Lluis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Atilano Abella during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 28 played minutes Telaritos got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Abella. Jose Handi, 29 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Arturo Telmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Daunte in the 33rd minute of play. Atilano Abella was shown his second yellow card after 35 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Telaritos getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Atilano Abella hit a great ball. In the 37th minute Amadeo Norino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Telmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Curupayti's Dionisio Daunte got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amadeo Norino struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Arturo Telmo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curupayti. Domingo Quintan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Roldanillo in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amadeo Norino was the one to do the kick off. When Amadeo Norino came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Curupayti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amadeo Norino couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeo Norino in the 67th minute of play forced Telaritos's goalkeeper Arturo Telmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 75 minutes, Elpidio Lluis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Telaritos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elpidio Lluis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Amadeo Norino came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Curupayti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amadeo Norino couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute, Amadeo Norino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Telaritos's Victorino Roldanillo got a free kick in the 91st minute. Arturo Telmo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 92nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jose Handi. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dionisio Daunte got free with Arturo Telmo in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
