Clodoveo Gartzen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lázaro Bertran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogelio Orlanda, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Camilo Manuelo during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th minute, one of Ipisca:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ipisca. Tobias Loren placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Clodoveo Gartzen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Manuel Haimar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ipisca's Clemente Vito suffered a fractured collar bone after 30 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Pastor Lauaxeta kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Ciriaco Etxatxu struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Lázaro Bertran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ipisca. The supporters of Ipisca booed when La Barraca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pastor Lauaxeta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ipisca's Manuel Haimar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clodoveo Gartzen in the 42nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in La Barraca FC's zone, Ciriaco Etxatxu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lázaro Bertran came out of the goal and Ciriaco Etxatxu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Clodoveo Gartzen got free with Manuel Haimar in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Ipisca's zone, Clodoveo Gartzen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Haimar came out of the goal and Clodoveo Gartzen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ipisca's Manuel Haimar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Ipisca from getting a goal against them. 67 minutes into the match, Ipisca's goalkeeper Manuel Haimar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clodoveo Gartzen. Victorino Tuste charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victorino Tuste the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ipisca getting a freekick after 67 minutes play.
