An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Orlanda in the 17th minute of play forced Curupayti's goalkeeper Domingo Quintan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Curupayti's Rene Remicio got a free kick in the 17th minute. When Ciriaco Etxatxu came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Ipisca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciriaco Etxatxu couldn't finish the play. Rogelio Orlanda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Domingo Quintan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ipisca's Ciriaco Etxatxu got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rene Remicio during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 31st match minute, Curupayti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Remicio to maneuver through the defense. If Rogelio Orlanda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. After 53 played minutes Ipisca got a freekick which was hit by Victorino Tuste. After recieving a nice pass, Curupayti's Jose Handi tried to score from far away in the 54th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Higinio Baraquiel during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 56 played minutes Curupayti got a freekick which was hit by Higinio Baraquiel. In the 58th minute, Ciriaco Etxatxu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 61 played minutes, Ipisca's Matias Firman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Domingo Quintan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ipisca reached it. In the 61st minute, Candido Satordi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dionisio Daunte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciriaco Etxatxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ciriaco Etxatxu, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 71 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Domingo Quintan was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Ipisca's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Matias Firman in the 75th minute. Ipisca's Matias Firman was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Domingo Quintan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ciriaco Etxatxus short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Domingo Quintan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Domingo Quintan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Vito in the 80th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Ipisca's Rogelio Orlanda ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Domingo Quintan. Domingo Quintan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. The Ipisca players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
