Alejandro Evis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Quintan having to interfere. The supporters of Majaditas booed when Curupayti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rene Remicio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Dionisio Daunte cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Amadeo Norino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cleto Romero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. If Alejandro Evis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amadeo Norino to strike the kick off in the second half. Dionisio Daunte was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 52nd minute. Curupayti's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Majaditas's Cleto Romero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Majaditas from getting a goal against them. After 95 played minutes, Curupayti's Jose Handi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cleto Romero came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Curupayti reached it. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Curupayti had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
