Fidel Eduino made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Blas Calisto sent off a good shot on target. Fidel Eduino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Rik, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Narciso Rik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Carbo getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Honorio Rosalio hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 12th minute by Cosme Telesforo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cosme Telesforo came free with the goalkeeper in the 12th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fidel Eduino could save by the left post. Narciso Rik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Fidel Eduino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute Antonio Jaen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Naldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, C.A.Los Andes's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Jaen came free, but Guillermo Naldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blas Calisto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Fidel Eduino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Hernan Vigil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luis Elivareo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vinicio Natanael hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antonio Jaen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Narciso Rik managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A.Los Andes's supporters rose to their feet, but Narciso Rik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fidel Eduino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dionisio Gudesteo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Guillermo Naldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fidel Eduino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blas Calisto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Carbo's Luis Elivareo got a free kick in the 60th minute. If Blas Calisto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 66th minute, Narciso Rik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fidel Eduino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas Calisto in the 67th minute of play. Carbo's Dionisio Gudesteo got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Narciso Rik hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luis Elivareo got free with Guillermo Naldo in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Carbo's zone, Blas Calisto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fidel Eduino came out of the goal and Blas Calisto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Blas Calisto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
