After 11 minutes, Delmar Tonete mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Plano Infinito and the Mapuche CC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Mapuche CC booed when Plano Infinito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmar Tonete didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabricio Demario hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, Mapuche CC's goal looked a bit too open when Siro Mikelar came free, but Honorato Froila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honorato Froila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Laurin in the 23rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Conrado Calixto in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Honorato Froila saved Mapuche CC from getting behind. Honorato Froila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Gabino in the 28th minute of the match. In the 31st minute Adolfo Gabino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorato Froila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mapuche CC's Honorato Froila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Tonete in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Delmar Tonete had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Honorato Froila. Mapuche CC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Delmar Tonete was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 40 minutes into the game, Fabricio Demario was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mapuche CC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Plano Infinito the free kick. Fabricio Demario hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. When Conrado Calixto came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Plano Infinito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conrado Calixto couldn't finish the play. If Adolfo Gabino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honorato Froila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Calixto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the game, Agustin Gelmiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mapuche CC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Plano Infinito the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Conrado Calixto in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Honorato Froila prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half Plano Infinito were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Conrado Calixto was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Mapuche CC's goalkeeper Honorato Froila had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Siro Mikelar. In the 58th match minute, Mapuche CC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Perrando to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd match minute, Mapuche CC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timoteo Nuxila to maneuver through the defense. Timoteo Nuxila kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Conrado Calixto in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Honorato Froila saved Mapuche CC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Plano Infinito's Paulino Laurin got a free kick in the 86th minute. Conrado Calixto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Froila having to interfere. Timoteo Vergaray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Roldan in the 93rd minute of play. Rigoberto Isaio hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
