The supporters of matute show booed when Agitaf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Claris didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnulfo Lekubegi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ariel Rius read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnulfo Lekubegi made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Agitaf's goalkeeper Ariel Rius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodolfo Lizer. If Raimundo Olentzaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the game, Arnulfo Lekubegi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ariel Rius. Arnulfo Lekubegi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. In the 67th minute, Rodolfo Lizer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 71st minute, matute show's Arnulfo Lekubegi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ariel Rius. Ariel Rius yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Jacinto Niguel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Eneko in the 75th minute of play. Rodolfo Lizer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ariel Rius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Arnulfo Lekubegi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ariel Rius. That made the score 0-4 in the 79 minute of play. Ariel Rius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnulfo Lekubegi, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodolfo Lizer got free with Ariel Rius in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rodolfo Lizer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
