In the 5th match minute, Villanueba F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvano Fagondo to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ladislao Mannuel in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alejo Gartzi saved Villanueba F.C from getting behind. The supporters of Villanueba F.C booed when Canaya Fulbo Clú was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Balendin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute Godfredo Lucian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Lorien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Villanueba F.C booed when Canaya Fulbo Clú was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braulio Haitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Villanueba F.C's attentive Ermegildo Montel managed to snatch the ball when Lázaro Nuñez made a throw-in in the 21st minute of the game. Arnoldo Lorien was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 36 minutes, Ladislao Mannuel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canaya Fulbo Clú's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ladislao Mannuel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th minute Nicanor Barto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Lorien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Mannuel in the 46th minute of play forced Villanueba F.C's goalkeeper Alejo Gartzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ladislao Mannuel made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Nicanor Barto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnoldo Lorien. Canaya Fulbo Clú's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicanor Barto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Silvano Fagondo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnoldo Lorien read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Nicanor Barto got his second yellow card in the match during the 68th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Silvio Weather fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Lorien having to interfere. Silvano Fagondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Arnoldo Lorien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnoldo Lorien showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorio Ekain in the 77th minute of the match. A collision led to Villanueba F.C getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Silvio Weather hit a great ball. After 84 minutes of play, Villanueba F.C's Silvano Fagondo made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnoldo Lorien was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Ladislao Mannuel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alejo Gartzi was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Atilano Socorro struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Alejo Gartzi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canaya Fulbo Clú. Many of Canaya Fulbo Clú's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Canaya Fulbo Clú may have spent more time on the ball, but Villanueba F.C were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
