The supporters of Sacachispas01 booed when IRU FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Oriol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelo Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Maraman in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, IRU FC's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Maraman came free, but Marcelo Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Hugo Oriol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in IRU FC's zone, Samuel Maraman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Neto came out of the goal and Samuel Maraman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aristides Dantel scored 1-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Justino Senin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Ur in the 28th minute of play forced Sacachispas01's goalkeeper Justino Senin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Timoteo Valente might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Justino Senin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Timoteo Valente ran back to his position shaking his head. Miguel Ur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sacachispas01's Justino Senin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Ur in the 33rd minute of play. Maximiliano Gil hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Miguel Ur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justino Senin having to interfere. Justino Senin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miguel Ur went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 43 minutes into the match, Sacachispas01's goalkeeper Justino Senin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aristides Dantel. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miguel Ur to make the kick off. Mariano Llorian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelo Neto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. If Erasmo Bixintxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justino Senin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Ur in the 56th minute of play. If Samuel Maraman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Llorian struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Marcelo Neto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sacachispas01. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Dantel in the 66th minute of play forced Sacachispas01's goalkeeper Justino Senin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Aristides Dantel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Justino Senin was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Samuel Maraman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Marcelo Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Aristides Dantel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The IRU FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sacachispas01 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
