Spectators: 6180 (Terracing: 5100, Seating: 1050, VIP seats: 30) Saavedra Unido's Mario Sidoro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Saavedra Unido was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodosio Iyan to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Gonzales in the 13th minute of play forced Puntilla AFC's goalkeeper Isidoro Naike to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Armando Gonzales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23 played minutes Puntilla AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Tadzio. Armando Gonzales struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Isidoro Naike didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saavedra Unido. In the 26th minute Mario Sidoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Naike saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, Armando Gonzales ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isidoro Naike was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a rather tough play, Puntilla AFC's Teobaldo Tristan got a free kick in the 37th minute. If Luis Mateus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Luis Mateus came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Puntilla AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Mateus couldn't finish the play. In the 47th minute Amado Tadzio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Mincho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Puntilla AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Saavedra Unido were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amado Tadzio was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Saavedra Unido was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvio Hegoi to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Tristan in the 53rd minute of play forced Saavedra Unido's goalkeeper Gustavo Mincho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Saavedra Unido's Isidoro Naike threw himself towards the right post 59 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mario Sidoro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in Saavedra Unido's zone, Amado Tadzio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Mincho came out of the goal and Amado Tadzio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Puntilla AFC's Cipriano Tadzio got a free kick in the 68th minute. Gustavo Mincho came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Puntilla AFC's Amado Tadzio. But to his dismay, Amado Tadzio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Gustavo Mincho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Tadzio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amado Tadzio took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustavo Mincho. Gustavo Mincho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Puntilla AFC's Amado Tadzio got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 86th minute, Luis Mateus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Puntilla AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Armando Gonzales received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Isidoro Naike tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armando Gonzales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Saavedra Unido players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Puntilla AFC.
