Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Linkin Park booed when Fanegas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cirilo Videl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Linkin Park's Remigio Miliano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Linkin Park from getting a goal against them. After 9 played minutes Fanegas got a freekick which was hit by Serafino Mambru. After some careless play in the Fanegas defense, Sixto Urdin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leo Orlandus. The Fanegas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leo Orlandus should have stopped the shot. Leo Orlandus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Farias in the 14th minute of play. After some careless play in the Fanegas defense, Anselmo Farias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leo Orlandus. The Fanegas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leo Orlandus should have stopped the shot. Domingo Sansone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. If Hilario Bastian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The tension between the Linkin Park and the Fanegas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th minute, Domingo Sansone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pastor Stanislao during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 73 played minutes Linkin Park got a freekick which was hit by Pastor Stanislao. After 74 minutes of play Linkin Park's Domingo Sansone was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Remigio Miliano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Linkin Park's zone, Eduardo Savion stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remigio Miliano came out of the goal and Eduardo Savion tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 85 minutes into the game, Sixto Urdin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Linkin Park's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fanegas the free kick. Sixto Urdin hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Linkin Park's zone, Hilario Bastian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remigio Miliano came out of the goal and Hilario Bastian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Remigio Miliano came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Fanegas's Ricardo Urtsin. But to his dismay, Ricardo Urtsin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. The Linkin Park supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Linkin Park would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
