Spectators: 7235 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 40) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Emilio Incantalupi took the kick off in the first half of the match. Horacio Cutberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Candido Deunoro in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Deunoro in the 7th minute of play forced Background FC's goalkeeper Horacio Cutberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeremias Inge hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Ruben Otoniel struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Narciso Euloxu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Background FC. Ismael Cresencio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Horacio Cutberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th match minute, Pampichuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Osoitz to maneuver through the defense. If Ruben Otoniel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruben Otoniel struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. After 25 played minutes Background FC got a freekick which was hit by Marco Aurre. In the 27th minute, Iordache Melentie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Horacio Cutberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Inge in the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th match minute, Pampichuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimiro Bermudez to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute, Background FC's Ruben Otoniel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After 43 played minutes Pampichuela got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiro Bermudez. 45 minutes into the game, Emilio Incantalupi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Narciso Euloxu. Emilio Incantalupi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Narciso Euloxu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruben Otoniel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruben Otoniel scored 3-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Narciso Euloxu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Candido Deunoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Horacio Cutberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Ismael Cresencio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Horacio Cutberto was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emilio Incantalupi in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Narciso Euloxu saved Pampichuela from getting behind. Candido Deunoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Horacio Cutberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Jeremias Inge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Emilio Incantalupi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Narciso Euloxu was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pampichuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Armin Ursini was slow to take the kick. During this time Background FC's players had a chance to rest. Armin Ursini made a great header on Background FC's corner, it was just that Pampichuela's Narciso Euloxu managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 92nd minute Jeremias Inge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horacio Cutberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 95 minutes, Candido Deunoro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pampichuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Candido Deunoro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
