Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dionisio Orkatz got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute Candido Laffitte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Ospin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dionisio Orkatz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Mauro Ospin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Dionisio Orkatz in the 7th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 11 minutes into the game, Blas Quin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Benard's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ACTKK the free kick. In the 11th match minute, Benard was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blas Quin to maneuver through the defense. Mauro Ospin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Candido Laffitte in the 16th minute of play. Augusto Hermelando struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Gualterio Viator didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Benard. Celedonio Frutos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Gualterio Viator made a huge save. In the 24th minute Augusto Hermelando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Viator saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Justo Eduino's late challenge caught a Benard's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justo Eduino helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th minute, Justo Eduino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celedonio Frutos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Viator having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, ACTKK's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Hermelando came free, but Gualterio Viator reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Candido Laffitte had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauro Ospin. Benard's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Candido Laffitte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 39 minutes into the match, Celedonio Frutos notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of ACTKK's Gualterio Viator. Gualterio Viator was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Candido Laffitte came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the ACTKK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Candido Laffitte couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Augusto Hermelando to make the kick off. Rafael Telo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Mauro Ospin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elpidio Alfonso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gualterio Viator. ACTKK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rafael Telo hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute of the match Carmelo Dino sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gualterio Viator skillfully saved the ball. With a little luck, Benard's Mauro Ospin got control of the ball when Candido Laffitte tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gualterio Viator showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celedonio Frutos in the 66th minute of the match. With his leg Mauro Ospin managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when ACTKK's Candido Laffitte fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Augusto Hermelando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Viator having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, ACTKK's Dionisio Orkatz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mauro Ospin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benard's Celedonio Frutos got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. ACTKK's Gualterio Viator played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Hermelando in the 81st minute of play. Rafael Telo charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rafael Telo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, ACTKK's Rafael Telo got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Celedonio Frutos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Viator having to interfere. Mauro Ospin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Candido Laffitte in the 87th minute. Gualterio Viator came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Benard's Celedonio Frutos. But to his dismay, Celedonio Frutos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Celedonio Frutos scored 3-1 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gualterio Viator, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benard's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
