When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Emilio Incantalupi put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Eustaquio Domingues. Armin Ursini hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Alfonso Hermelando struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Horacio Cutberto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gorostiaga. Emilio Incantalupi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Eustaquio Domingues skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 35 minutes into the match, Emilio Incantalupi notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Gorostiaga's Eustaquio Domingues. Eustaquio Domingues was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Gorostiaga's Jeronimo Normando got a free kick in the 40th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Gorostiaga's zone, Iordache Melentie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eustaquio Domingues came out of the goal and Iordache Melentie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Background FC's Armin Ursini got a free kick in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Incantalupi in the 52nd minute of play forced Gorostiaga's goalkeeper Eustaquio Domingues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reynaldo Romero scored 4-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Horacio Cutberto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 62nd minute Alfonso Hermelando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horacio Cutberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Gorostiaga defense, Emilio Incantalupi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eustaquio Domingues. The Gorostiaga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eustaquio Domingues should have stopped the shot. Eustaquio Domingues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruben Otoniel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eustaquio Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Incantalupi in the 75th minute of play. Eustaquio Domingues didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emilio Incantalupi went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score.
