If Cirilo Feliu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Jeremias Admon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bernardino Txerran. That made the score 2-0 in the 20 minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Hermengildo Ostots got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th minute, Edgardo Oxarra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeremias Admon got free with Bernardino Txerran in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 31 minutes into the match, Luis Guillon Futbol Club's Roque Rencio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eulalio Tanio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Frente de Izquierda defense, Roque Rencio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eulalio Tanio. The Frente de Izquierda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eulalio Tanio should have stopped the shot. Eulalio Tanio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Rencio in the 39th minute of play. Hermengildo Ostots received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Eulalio Tanio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44thth minute of the game Hermengildo Ostots who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Frente de Izquierda's Eulalio Tanio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bernardino Txerran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirilo Feliu in the 45th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Luis Guillon Futbol Club's Roque Rencio got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Cirilo Feliu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cirilo Feliu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Hermengildo Ostots had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Librado during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Luis Guillon Futbol Club booed when Frente de Izquierda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Librado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Frente de Izquierda's Cirilo Feliu got a free kick in the 71st minute. A collision led to Frente de Izquierda getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Jeremias Admon hit a great ball. Maximo Tibalt hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Luis Guillon Futbol Club's Roque Rencio got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 85 played minutes Frente de Izquierda got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Bazil. In the 86th match minute, Luis Guillon Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermengildo Ostots to maneuver through the defense. Roque Rencio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luis Guillon Futbol Club's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Frente de Izquierda had won, even though Luis Guillon Futbol Club had held more of the ball.
