Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hermengildo Bembe in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristobal Artizar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 23 minutes into the match, Octavius Septimo's goalkeeper Cristobal Artizar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fidel Deunoro. Godfredo Maldonado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Loiola in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Rustico FC's Erubiel Tonio seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Erubiel Tonio the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Rustico FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Erubiel Tonio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 24th minute, one of Rustico FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rustico FC. In the 27th minute there was a penalty for Octavius Septimo. Americo Su stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Godfredo Maldonado. 1-1. A hard shot 31 in the game by Modesto Mikelats from a close distance when the talented Cristobal Artizar managed to make a qualified save. Octavius Septimo's players were relieved. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rustico FC's goalkeeper Godfredo Maldonado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Octavius Septimo's goalkeeper Cristobal Artizar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Modesto Mikelats. Angel Eguen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Cristobal Artizar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Rustico FC were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Octavius Septimo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emiliano Pasqual took the corner. After having played for 58 minutes, Modesto Mikelats managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rustico FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Modesto Mikelats was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Modesto Mikelats in the 60th minute of play forced Octavius Septimo's goalkeeper Cristobal Artizar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristobal Artizar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modesto Mikelats in the 61st minute of the match. Octavius Septimo's Cristobal Artizar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Modesto Mikelats in the 72nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Fidel Deunoro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rustico FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fidel Deunoro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristobal Artizar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Modesto Mikelats took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristobal Artizar. Cristobal Artizar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Cristobal Artizar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Frasco in the 83rd minute of the match. A collision led to Octavius Septimo getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Cristian Eriz hit a great ball. Modesto Mikelats received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Cristobal Artizar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristobal Artizar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angel Eguen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Israel Txurio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee ended the match the Rustico FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
