Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Honorio Bartuelo started the match with the kick off. Ezequiel Etxepare received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Santos Gonza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ibáñez's Leandro Menendo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Bartuelo in the 6th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Braulio Chuan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santos Gonza was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Braulio Chuan came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Ibáñez fans jumped to their feet. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Saladillo's goalkeeper Santos Gonza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Laureano Eguzki might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leandro Menendo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Laureano Eguzki ran back to his position shaking his head. Ezequiel Etxepare fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santos Gonza having to interfere. Leandro Menendo made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Laureano Eguzki sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 84 minutes, Braulio Chuan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ibáñez's supporters crossed their fingers, but Braulio Chuan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Saladillo's Santos Gonza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braulio Chuan in the 86th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Braulio Chuan in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santos Gonza saved Saladillo from getting behind. Braulio Chuan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santos Gonza having to interfere. Santos Gonza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Etxepare in the 92nd minute of play. Santos Gonza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Etxepare, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When Ezequiel Etxepare came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Ibáñez fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ezequiel Etxepare couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santo Valery during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
