Ibáñez's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ezequiel Etxepare was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rosales FC's Victoriano Henric played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingos Mendiko in the 31st minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Mauricio Belarmo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rosales FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ibáñez the free kick. In the 34th minute, Mauricio Belarmo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ezequiel Etxepare fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Henric having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ibáñez's Feliciano Misael got a free kick in the 40th minute. If Moises Haritz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moises Haritz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leandro Menendo came out and tried to block the shot, but Moises Haritz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 46th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eliseo Omero to make the kick off. Rosales FC's Victoriano Henric proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Rosales FC from getting a goal against them. In the 55th minute, Samuel Normando fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Victoriano Henric, passed just outside the right post. Ezequiel Etxepare received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Victoriano Henric came out and tried to block the shot, but Ezequiel Etxepare slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 56th minute. Maximiliano Paz charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximiliano Paz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Rosales FC's Maximiliano Paz got a free kick in the 61st minute. Ezequiel Etxepare received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Victoriano Henric tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the game, Feliciano Misael was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ibáñez's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rosales FC the free kick. When Moises Haritz came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Rosales FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Haritz couldn't finish the play. Victoriano Henric took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Etxepare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moises Haritz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the game, Ezequiel Etxepare recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Victoriano Henric. Ezequiel Etxepare showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. 78 minutes into the match, Rosales FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Etxepare came free, but Victoriano Henric reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Braulio Chuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 82 minutes, Eduardo Ibar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rosales FC and the Ibáñez players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eduardo Ibar kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Braulio Chuan came free with the goalkeeper in the 97th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Victoriano Henric could save by the left post. When the match was over Ibáñez could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rosales FC throughout the match.
