The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Roberto Bikendi kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Honorio Bartuelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Fausto Perrando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Saladillo's Honorio Bartuelo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fausto Perrando narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Saladillo booed when Remadores FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Daunte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fausto Perrando didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Laureano Eguzki went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. If Laureano Eguzki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the match, Saladillo's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Marin came free, but Santos Gonza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tomás Odilon came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Remadores FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Odilon couldn't finish the play. 30 minutes into the match, Saladillo's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Marin came free, but Santos Gonza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 34 minutes, Rolando Marin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Remadores FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rolando Marin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Santos Gonza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Odilon in the 35th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Rolando Marin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Remadores FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rolando Marin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santos Gonza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Santos Gonza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Marin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, Rolando Marin notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Saladillo's Santos Gonza. Santos Gonza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomás Odilon was the one to do the kick off. Santo Valery's late challenge caught a Remadores FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santo Valery helped the player get up and apologised. After 59 played minutes Saladillo got a freekick which was hit by Santo Valery. 59 minutes into the match, Remadores FC's Romulo Bazkoare broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Saladillo's Santo Valery got his second yellow card of the match in the 60th minute. The referee ordered Santo Valery off the ground. After a rather tough play, Saladillo's Santo Valery got a free kick in the 61st minute. Remadores FC's Fausto Perrando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Eguzki in the 64th minute of play. Laureano Eguzki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Honorio Bartuelo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Laureano Eguzki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saladillo's supporters rose to their feet, but Laureano Eguzki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fausto Perrando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laureano Eguzki, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Laureano Eguzki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Perrando having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Rolando Marin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 99 minutes had been played when some careless play by Saladillo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Romulo Bazkoare was slow to take the kick. During this time Remadores FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Remadores FC's Romulo Bazkoare to fire away a dangerous shot which Santos Gonza despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
